Michael Olesker: World War II: Stories of Heroes Never Die

On May 7, 2025, journalist Michael Olesker published an article on the Baltimore Post-Examiner website about the significance of VE Day and how, even after victory was declared in Europe, fighting in the Pacific Theater continued.

In his article, Olesker talks about a past gathering of World War 2 veterans at Baltimore's old Memorial Stadium that included War Hero and U.S. Senator Daniel Brewster, with the veterans recounting stories from the brutal fighting in both the European and Pacific theaters.
